SCHOLARSHIP – FUNDING GUIDELINES
Created in 2001, the CAPA Continuing Education Scholarship assists Calgary Academy alumni with costs related to upgrading or to pursuing post-secondary education (up to a bachelor’s degree). Scholarships can be worth up to $5000 per year; all funding awarded will be sent directly to the educational institution.
Applications are due by February 1 for the fall semester and by September 1 for the winter semester.
Applicants must submit the following form, which includes details of the program of study as well as demonstration of financial need. In addition, two letters of reference indicating support for the chosen educational path are required, one from Calgary Academy and one from a non-family member.

Scholarship applicants will be notified in May (fall semester) or in December (winter semester) if their scholarship application has been successful. Details of the scholarship amount will be disclosed. Applicants will then receive and sign a document that outlines the scholarship details. Finally, CAPA will arrange payment directly to the educational institution.
